Sun Bowl Stadium
The Sun Bowl Stadium, home to one of the oldest collegiate football bowl games, the nationally televised “Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl Game” is also home to the UTEP Miners Football program. Built in 1963, the Sun Bowl Stadium is equal to many of America's large stadiums. Renovated in 2020, the Sun Bowl Stadium was expanded include a new outdoor bar, private suites, and outdoor lodges.

Driving directions
From Interstate 10 (East):
Take the Schuster/Sun Bowl exit (18A) to Sun Bowl Drive. Proceed onto Sun Bowl Drive. Continue towards the roundabout and go straight. At the second roundabout, take a right onto Glory Road. The Sun Bowl Stadium will be on the right.
From Interstate 10 (West):
Take the Schuster/Sun Bowl exit (18A) to Sun Bowl Drive. Turn left at the light (Schuster Avenue). At the next light (Sun Bowl Drive), take a left onto Sun Bowl Drive. PARKING DETAILS
Parking is available for purchase on the event day only. UTEP has contracted with the Goldmine Collective to provide parking services for select University Special Events. The Goldmine Collective supports UTEP Athletics by creating Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) opportunities for Miner student-athletes in the El Paso community.

- How can I purchase tickets?
- You can purchase tickets at Ticketmaster.com
- Ticket Purchases and Will Call are available at the UTEP Ticket Center located in front of the East entrance to the Don Haskins Center and at the Sun Bowl Stadium North entrance box office on the day of event. For their hours of operation, contact the University Ticket Center at (915) 747-5234.
- I have floor tickets, how do I access my seats?
- You may access the floor through the available section entrances at the concourse level.
- Please keep your ticket with you at all times. You will be asked to show your ticket each time to access the floor.
- Is re-entry allowed?
- There is NO RE-ENTRY for any reason. A new ticket must be purchased to re-enter the building.
- Is smoking allowed in the building?
- No. Smoking is prohibited on University Property.
- Methods of payment
- Card and cash is accepted. There are ATM’s available in the Concourse Area. Merchandise can be purchased with a credit card.
- Family Restrooms
- Available at the lower East Concourse by sections 21-23.
- Children
- Children 2 years and older require a ticket. Children under 24 months must be seated on a parent's or guardian's lap, and must not interfere with the view of others
- ADA Requests:
- To speak with someone regarding accommodations, assistance or questions prior to your visit, please call our Venue at (915) 747-5481 M-F 8AM-5PM. During the event, staff members will be available at Guest Services at the North Entrance of Sun Bowl Stadium by sections 12-13.
- Cameras
- Professional cameras are not allowed. Digital cameras with lenses under 4 inches, and are not detachable, are allowed. These rules however are subject to change per event.
